Want to Make Some Extra $$$ by Selling your Textbooks?!

Hey guys! Just wanted to drop in here because I just earned over $700 on my old textbooks……

I REPEAT, SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS $$$

Ryan and I are currently in the process of decluttering, minimizing, and moving into our 32’ RV! As apart of this process, I decided to look through our textbooks and decide which ones I could sell to a buyback company. Now, Ryan and I each had our own textbooks. This is because our school had a specific program for books. We paid a fee each semester, and in return received our books to keep. If we chose to opt-out of this program, it would have only saved us $50-$100, so we both paid the fee and both received books!

The benefit of us both having our own books meant that we could sell at least one copy of everything! This was a definite plus for us, however, what surprised me the most was that some of the more obscure and inconspicuous books were worth a lot of money! I’m talking, the random books that you only needed for one course. Surprising, right?

WANT TO KNOW WHICH WEBSITES PAID ME THE MOST MONEY?

Through my process of selling my old books, I found that there were a couple of websites that consistently quoted the highest price for my books!

  • Books Run: I sold 15 books to this company for a whopping grand total of $340! I don’t know about you, but I just think it’s amazing that books on my shelf collecting dust can pay me that much! I ended up selling the most books to this site because it usually had the best prices! I know what you’re thinking…. shipping heavy books is going to be expensive! That’s what makes this whole thing even more awesome! As soon as you confirm your sale, they send you a shipping label. FOR FREE!
If you’d like to see what your books are worth, follow this link. You can also use this search bar to find books for sale at a reduced price!

  • sellbackyourbook.com: I ended up selling 9 books to this site for $250! This site had very competitive quotes as well. If you would like to check out what this site may offer you as well, go ahead and use this link!

These are the two sites that I sold the majority of my books to, and I have used them in the past with no issues at all! Shipping was a breeze, and I received my payment just like the site advertised. Both sites allow you to choose between a check or PayPal.

ONE LAST $$$ TIP

The reason why I was able to feel so confident that I was getting the best quotes for my books was because I used BookFinder.com. This website is a handy tool that allows you to input the ISBN and instantly see what each buyback website will pay you for it! SO HANDY! It creates a list of all the books you enter and will either highlight the best price, or it can highlight one company that will pay you the most for all of your books if you are unwilling to sell your books to multiple companies.

I hope you guys found this helpful and I hope you can make a little extra cash on those books collecting dust in the corner :)
